Question: How many out there that drive modified cars and their Insurance Companies know about it. Especially with engine mods?
If you have an accident they are only going to pay you buy the book,
not the $20K or more some of you have in your cars. Also they don't
like to hear your car makes 700+ to the rear wheels. Because of this I have Mine insured for replacement value with 0 deductable all the way around. I Just paid $1070 a year. Well worth it if there's a problem.

For 30 years I have worked for an insurance company, our experience and numerous independent studies clearly indicate that those with lower credit scores file more claims. Who should pay more for their insurance, those that file more claims or those that do not? If they outlaw credit scores as part of the "insurance scoring" process then those filing claims more frequently will be subsidize by those who do not.

Too many variables go into the premium calculation to get anything meaningful out of the responses. Some of the factors are age, driving record, credit score, geographic location, type of coverage, marital status, deducible, multi car discount, multiple policy discounts, etc.

$600 per year on my 2011 ZR1 with $500k liability as required by my umbrella policy. I remember paying $3000 per year on an M3 when I was 28 and had two comprehensive claims in one year.
