After 10 plus years, finally had it with their lousy customer service and incompetent billing practices. Couldnt take it any longer!

Had the free XM trial, when first getting my car, but not paying anymore monthly bills. Didn't even work in my garage. Have Sirius included in my Dish Network TV package, and listen to it on my home office computer, but don't pay extra for it.

I had a big fight with them last week. I signed up for a year with the bill broken down into two payments. I paid the first half on Feb 3rd and they sent me e-mail that I was getting cut off in 48 hrs for non payment. I called and they said you have an unpaid balance of $102.00. I told them I sent a check 2 weeks ago and you cashed it. I told them to cancel the service and send my money back that I paid. The woman on the phone put me on hold and came back and said as a one time deal they would except the $102 I paid for the whole year. I have the whole package so I did it. But this is the last time I am putting up with their BS.

Haven't really noticed poorer fidelity between XM/Sirius and CD or FM, but, since I subscribe to both, I can attest to their extremely poor customer service. If they don't shape up many more will cancel their service like the OP, and for good reason. Too bad they don't have any direct competition to help shape them up. Regardless, people will only take so much abuse before quitting them.

Yep, same here...here is my fix...it's called MP3 player. In my case it's a hook up for my iPhone.

Same here..over 10 years. Android apps that let me find what I listen to on xm made it an easy choice. Mostly talk radio. For music google music is the bomb, and pandora is great too.
I ripped my xm player out of my tundra last week. My other newer cars I never gave them my info so it will just fade away.
Xm does have an android Pp, but they charge too much for it.

i hate talking to them because you can usually never understand them.i usually tell them to please put someone on the phone that speaks english or i will hang up.i wait till it expires and then they send you deals.never renew until it expires.i just got 6 months for $34.never pay by cc.they will renew you automatically weather you want to or not.i make them send me a bill and pay by check, this way they cannot renew me unless i want to.

It doesn't come close to the "CD clarity" they promise. I will be cancelling tomorrow , to not renew. Since I can rip MP3 discs with over 150 songs per cd, with the 6 disc changer, that's free.

Sounds like they need a powerful person in Customer Satisfaction. I have it now - I will not renew because it is too much $$$$. I think they are nutz, but, I like the old radio shows.
