Considering a set myself...
Can anyone comment about the color differences of the Lloyds mats in their Ebony vs Black?
The ebony interior in my '12 GS looks quite black to me, so which Lloyds color is closer?

Ebony is the closest match on the c6's but it is not exact. Ebony is a very odd color which kind of changes colors at different angles, even some having a greenish tint to them. The black is a jet black and many people opt for it in the C6's in order to add a little contrast to the interior

Looking for some new mats...
I have a '99 navy blue c5. It has what I would assume is a "black" interior (carpet and leather), but I don't know if it would technically be called "ebony" or not, for THIS particular year/model/color. Would you happen to know if GM offered both a "black" AND an "ebony" interior option in 1999? (for the navy blue exterior) or just ONE (which is basically black that 'could' be called ebony)? They also offered a light gray interior option also, but that's not in question.
Thanks...

Don't mean to talk about c5s in a c6 thread,...but while I have you here......

In the C5's the only black color would be black. Ebony was a C6 color only

One of the easiest things you can do to the interior of a c6 is put a set of Loyld mats in it.I have the front mats and cargo mat in ebony ultimat .Great mats, made in US much better than cheap factory mats.Imo the Luxe mat is to thick, was told in time it can mat down from shoe heels.
