Default Lloyds Mats: Velourtex vs Ultimat

OK, I did a few searches and could not find anything on this. Has anyone purchased the Lloyds velourtex mats and been dissapointed with the product? I have the Ultimats but don't know what the velourtex look like.

I just received my Ultimat Lloyd mats including a rear cargo mat and front mats for my GS. They are absolutely beautiful. High quality carpeting, perfect fit and the logos I selected look terrific. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

I just purchased a set of Ultimat from Patrick at GM Parts House and they are very nice. Patrick answered all of my concerns and I would buy again from GM Parts House.

Luxe are even better but I assume you are wanting to stay within a price range.

No, actually I was trying to figure out what looked more "factory" in the car. I ended up purchasing the Ultimat and to tell you the truth, I think I should have gone with the Velourtex...they probably would look closer to the texture of a factory mat.

As I like to describe it

Velourtex is a factory mat equivalent

Ultimat is the next step up and a very nice quality looking mat

Luxe is overkill in its purest form these are just insane

The Ultimat line is our most popular and I would not even bother with the Velourtex over the Ultimat because the price difference is so minimal but the quality is far superior.

As for the Luxe they are very expensive for a floor mat (price will make you weak in the knees) but the quality is well worth it. A great mat to crawl under incase of a nuclear attack lol.

Any other questions please feel free to give me a call or email me at patrick@gmpartshouse.com

Good feedback Patrick, however if one is looking for a more "original" look, then it appears as if the Velourtex is the better choice. To me the Ultimat looks unnatural in the car when compared with the factory mat texture.

Ultimats are worth every penny. I ordered mine through Patrick as well and he provided excellent service and a great price. Long live Lloyds.
