Great mod. Question: I'm getting ready to install my Blue LED cupholder, footwell and waterfall, so I was thinking of powering the cupholder from the F55 light wire (so they come on with the headlights), and the footwell/waterfall from the stock footwell lights (so they come on when door opens or with cabin light switch), so does that sound correct - or -is there a better direction for these????? Thanks ...

I am no expert but sounds like you are on the right track. The cupholder light from the F55 switch will work great, as for the waterfall I have never done that so can't say but it seems like the perfect solution.

You should have ordered our plug n play strips for the footwells

You have the wiring right though.

adds a nice touch when you want it. You can close the door when you don't.

The set up I made for you was for everything to be tied into the F55 so that it comes on with head lights. JW sells the replacement lights for the lights that turn on when you open it. I wanted more of a true ambient lighting system. The other Convertible that I did in all blue had one complaint and that was that the footwells were a bit bright sooo... to cure that I'm going to get you a remote dimmer switch to adjust brightness to your liking.

The water fall area should be be fine as long as you mount to the curved area... I actually just got finished installing Red floor lights, White Cup holder and Blue Waterfall area in a car.

You can see why he chose this color set up, (we hooked his lights up to his dimmer for the wind restrictor), I'll try and get some night time photos as well.
