.............CG, Red, Silver or White!
Thanks you very much for the link... I had tried to find that but had previously been unsuccessful... Thanks much...

Any idea why GM charges so, so much for them??? Because they can??? Or is there perhaps something about these that is more than just a decal with gm's name on it??? I will likely buy them but ouch, those are expensive...

thanks again for the link.... bob...

Yur welcum.........

GM contracts with a company in Lake Orion, Michigan (KAY AUTOMOTIVE GRAPHICS) that makes the stripes for them. GM OEM's are nothing more than laminated vinyl and you pay for that tiny logo. They are not high quality CAD cut decals.

http://www.kayautomotive.com/index2.html

Here is my silver oem set that came with my car:

Here is the template (on the car):

Silver just doesn't flow well with my car, so I chose basic black vinyl.

Shop around! There are venders here that can get oem's for you cheaper than what the link has posted.

Oh, one more thing... Did you put your's on yourself??? If so, easy or hard??? At some point, i assume you pull off a backing and then have to stick them down, hopefully in the right place?? bob...

White is most certainly available from GM, it's called Pearl White and looks great on my Inferno Orange Convertible.

I will certainly post pictures when I get it... It is scheduled to be built the week of April 2 so I would guess I will see around mid to late April since they have to ship it to the West Coast (SF-Oakland Bay Area)...

What it will be is Crystal Red Tint GS, Convertible, 3LT, with a black top and black interior, cross flag logo on the seats, GS chrome wheels and likely the Pearl White stripes on the fenders if I buy them...

But I will post pictures when it becomes a real car...

thanks... bob..

I bought mine from a board member recommendation for $125 shipped one piece, two color, with cross flags. The shop had a local dealer actually come in and scan a set of OEM. I forget the material he used but it is professional grade and not much out there is better when I looked it up. He is not a forum sponsor so you will have to p/m me if you are interested in his info. I believe if I post it up thread will get edited.

Here are my aftermarket stripes:

I'm not spending $200 on a sticker. No vendors make them in Cyber Gray?

It's not a sticker but I won't get into that with you.

Go to eBay for stickers for like 20-40. Or contact Mike at vette stripes for better quality. I believe he charges 75$ a side.

And regarding the one poster who had the set of silver stripes, thanks but if I get them I would likely get white to go on the Crystal Red Tint car I have on order...

thanks... bob..
I got mine from the Dealership after the fact. The OEM ones have the lil cross flags on them and look a lot better than the vinyl "stickers" I have seen.

I have aftermarket with the cross flags. They were a third of what the online dealers charge.
