Default Will a LS7 Z06 exhaust fit a 2007 LS2 C6

I would like to swap out my stock C6 exhaust with something better but a new header/exhaust combo for well over 2k sounds like more than I want to buy right now. I see used stock Z06 manifold, pipe, cat combos going for cheap these days. since it is a 3", and the manifold must be a better design, I am thinking it will give me a decent performance bump.

My question is, will the Z06 manifold bolt up to my LS2 head, and will the piping fit my base C6. As always, thanks for your input.

If you have a manual transmission the Z06 exhaust manifolds, cats, mid pipe and mufflers will all fit no problem.

If you have an automatic its going to be very tight around the transmission. It can be done, but its tight.

Once you have installed it all, you will need a vacuum controller kit to control the butterflies.

Take a look at our thread for the Exhaust Commander All-in-1 NPP retrofit kit. It has a lifetime warranty and has many control options for your bi-mode exhaust.

I put a complete ZR1 exhaust on my A6 09 and not only does it sound better I got a few HP out of the deal. I did the NPP in a box to open and close the actuators.

Looks like a great device, but I am thinking about just usi the Z06 manifold and H pipes to aftermarket mufflers

if you put complete LS7 exhaust on a 2005 LS2 manual trans car.....what has to be done to the oxygen sensors ........do the wires have to be lengthened? Or is it just the wiring harness routing that needs to be changed a bit? Thanks

The only way it's a bolt in is if you use all 7 pieces of the Z06 exhaust and the Z06 gaskets.
