Carlisle Blue Number?
The end of the 2012 production run is nearing it end (May 5). Who has the last CB paint color on their car? Just post your vin number, date of production and type of car. My guess is their will be less than 500 of this color made. The majority of the cars will be Grand Sports with either a 3/ 4 package My CB Grand Sport was produced on 2/8/12 and vin number is 7631 with a 2lt package. :salut e:

Carlisle Blue Grand Sport -- Blue Convertible Top - - 4LT Blue Stitching - - Produced 02/27/12
Vin Number Last four digits: 8468
(Carlisle Blue exterior colors will NOT be offered for the 2013 model, and will end production BEFORE the rest of the 2012 Corvette model run. Under the current schedule the last time you would have been able to order Carlisle Blue was 02/09/12)

Highest CB Number
Just found a CB with a vin number -9317 which is for sale by one of our vendors. Does anybody have a higher CB vin number? Let us know what the vin number is and trim (1/2/3/4 LT) and if you know when the car was producded. Give us your best guess on the number of CB produced this year.:salut e:

The order cycle for the 2012 Corvette did end in March. In a traditional year the Corvette is built in July to June. Because of the pending launch of the C7, the 2012 Model year built out at the end of April and the 2013 model year (shortened production year) started and will end around December of 2012. If you want to order a new Corvette it will need to be a 2013 at this point. If you want a 2012, you'll need to find one in dealer stock.

It seems EVERYONE lives Carlisle Blue
I have a base 2LT coupe in CB and I don't understand what the early "haters" were talking about. Not a day goes by that somebody sees the car and exclaims some form of.."My god! What is that color? It is the prettiest color I have ever seen on a Corvette"
The general manager and service managers at my local Chevy dealership are in love with the color. The mechanics come out of their bays and just stand and watch when I pull in (oil changes and visits only. The car has been mechanically perfect).
Yet, I can't put out of my mind the pages of threads on every Corvette site LAMBASTING the color when it first came out. I remember words like "hideous" and "What was GM thinking?"
Geez, now people are out there scrambling to find one this color. I have to admit, I am feeling a bit "special" at the moment...

My wife and I both attract this type of attention whenever we are out and about.
I had a New York State Trooper stop me yesterday only to admire and talk about the car for 15 min..
My wife says that the car is a 'Guy Magnet". She seems to draw male attention on every errand that she runs. It's the color!....CB.......Everyone drools on the car..messy...but a lot of fun.
Ours is a 3LT conv. w/ blue top , only (1) of 118 in existence.

Little late to this CB game, but I own the same vehicle. GS Conv, 3LT. Blue top, tan interior with the vette flags on head rests. Can't go anywhere without someone stopping me and that includes the Chevy dealer I go to. Its insane, the amount of positive feedback it gets and the attention. love it. Hope you're enjoying yours ! steve
