So i am really wanting to put the groung effects of a zr1 on my car. I found one on west coast corvettes that you do not need the wide body, but im wondering if it looks good or stupid.

I would go with the ones from RPI designs. They have great products.
They have some pics of splitters and sideskirts on base body Vettes.

Go with RPI. That's who I went with to get the ZR1 splitter, side skirts and spoiler on my base

I can't vouch for RPI on the ZR1 parts as I haven't ordered them... yet... lol... BUT for a customer service standpoint, RPI is awesome! I ordered some parts late Wednesday night and they are going to be here today!

Mine is a widebody, but it is the RPI carbon fiber ones. the rear mudguard of the sideskirts are carbon fiber too

no, probably should, but I hardly get time to drive it.

i think i made it 100 miles before the two vertical pieces in front of the rear tires were riddled with chips. had to replace them and this time I wrapped them.

should have done the splitter but once it's toast, i will.

I would like to have the front ZR1 splitter but I cant even get out of my driveway with scraping the basic air dam on the front bumper. I'm getting pretty good with touch up paint.

another vote for rpi
got my front splitter from them and shouldve gotten my sideskirts from them...
their prices are good and they're a quality vendor, got my sideskirts elsewhere and it was a nightmare...

These all look great, I really think im going to pull the trigger. Does anyone have the kit on the base model without the wide body. wondering if it would look different or even funny looking....Like it really doesnt belong or something.

Raazor, it look like yours just has the wider rear correct. Anyone else out there??
