Default GS owners.... Better runflat tire options over GY F1's?

Looking to rid of these not so great GY F1's for another tire option but still a runflat. What do you guys/gals with GS's think of the following tires if you have them:

Michelin Pilot Sport ZP
Bridgestone Potenza RE050A
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2

I don't have a GS, but a widebody and I installed Michelin PS2 ZP.

Better ride, quieter and more grip than GYs.

Bridgestone RE050A run flats on my Z06(uses same tires as the GS) and I'm very happy with them. They are priced very favorable also.

That works too.

Interested in hearing mileage comparisons as well if anyone has had said tires for an extended period of time.

I just installed mine last spring, so I can't give you wear comparisions yet.

Michelin PS2 ZP (not A/S) 30k plus spirited driven miles on first set. Just put on a second set of ZP's. G.Y. Supercars lasted 16k.

Another good option if you can live without runflats is the Michelin Super Sport. Supposedly it is better than the PS2

If you don't care about run flats I would probably go with the following.

Super Sport
PS2
Nitto

If you do care.
PS2 ZP
Bstones

There are not a lot of options but generally anything is better than Goodyears.

I had the Michelin PS2 ZP A/S on my 2005 and I will go with the Michelin PS2 ZP on my 2012 when the time comes. They are that much better than the Goodyears in my book.

I just put on a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports, but they aren't run flats. I just drove 1600 miles on em and so far love them.

I had the Michelin A/S tires. They were good but I went with Michelin PS2 ZP on my last change. They are great. A little more money but tires are something I knew would be an extra cost when I decided to drive a vette.

Any complaints with "tracking" like the stock GY's with the other above mentioned tires?

Tracking= tires catch and follow grooves in the road.

No complaints with tracking. I will definitely go with the Michelin PS2 next time.

There is NO question about it Michelin Performance tires of ALL kinds are the best! I have spent a ton of money(easily over $30k) on every brand of tires and Michelin's are hands down the best!

I've had the Bridgestone Potenza line on my 2004 Vette, 2008 Subaru STi, and plan on getting them for my 2010 GS. Seems like the Z06/GS crowd with our tire sizes have good reviews on the Bridgestones.

Just for the record the correct term for this behavior is called "Tramlining".

I'll be buying the Bridgstones RF when it's time for new rubber.

Personally, I've replaced tires on two vettes and both times I went with firestone wide ovals runflats. Very happy with the ride, longevity and the cost. I've got over 10,000 mileson my current set and still plenty of tread.

Can you point us in the direction of a store that sells Firestone wide oval runflats in the Grand Sport/Z06 sizes?

Does anyone have any pics of the Michelins installed? I do like the look of my GS with the Goodyears on it and would consider one tire over another based on how the car looked.

May sound a little silly but I do like the look of the GYs.
