Default Dealer surprise in showroom

At dealer for service and wondered into the showroom to find a 1982 coupe sitting there. Taken in for trade on new Calloway. The '82 had only 1600 actual miles and everything was original - even the tires! Talk about a garage queen. Sorry, no camera so no pictures but trust me, it was pretty!

I was afraid to ask the price! May be the dealer will keep it for their collection. No cell phone with me as I had the phone in the car. I'll try to get back down there and get some pictures.

Local dealer has a C3 he puts in the showroom once in awhile. Then it'll be gone for a year or two before he puts it in there again. Don't know where he keeps it.

An '82 with a whopping 180 HP and crossfire injection?

No thanks.

Oh sorry. Like 20 HP really makes a difference.

Plus they are quite ugly compared to early C3s.

That is one Vette I would not want.

I love the body style of the 82's. My old man had one when I was in high school. Always dreamed about sticking a 8-71 blower on one sticking through the hood with dual 4's, not that would be COOL!!!

No Powerglide in '82. If auto it would have been a 3 or 4 (overdrive) speed.

If it's for sale maybe the dealer has it listed w/ pics on his website, check then link the site here, save you a trip from going back if you really didn't want to.
BTW always liked the looks of the C3's

Wife and I were talking about a late 60s Mustang for sale near us. Came to the same conclusion, nice looking but you're still getting an older car with rougher riding and handling.
