Default Which Rotors are you running on your Z51

Im changing out my brakes on my Z51 coupe and I heard that the OEM rotors are in short supply, so Im looking at aftermarket.

What is a decent upgrade that wont cost me an arm and a leg.

FYI I like the way the stock Z51 set up does, but ive got Hawk pads ready to go on.

I'd go with a 1-pc slotted rotor if it was me. Check the parts for sale section. There are a couple vendors offering good deals.

Brakemotive offers zinc plated rotors which are drilled and slotted along with ceramic brake packages. I bought a set and the rotors are very nice compared to the stock setup. Best prices I have seen and service and shipping was Excellent!

I just ordered Centric high carbon content. No cross drilled or slotted. I'll be using them with new HP Plus pads at the track.

I'll report back.

Honestly, if you don't want to spend a lot on rotors, find some OEM Z51 rotors. Someone, somewhere has some that they will sell you.
