Default Just order the window sticker and the build sheet for your Vette from the museum

I see a lot of people wondering if they have this option or that option or whatever.

Just a reminder, you can order the build sheet AND the window sticker that was on your Vette at the dealership when it came off the truck and rolled onto the lot.

It's a service offered by the National Corvette Museum.

Just go to the website, look for the link and type in your VIN. They will send you the build sheet and the Window Sticker that lists all the options, the original pricing, etc. I think they cost $5 or $10 each.

You can order them laminated (I did) but they cost more.

But it's very cool to have. I didn't buy my car new, so it was really nice to be able and get that documentation after the fact.

I attached some photos of what I got from the museum. The photos are poor quality, but you get the idea. As you can see, all the options are listed as well as their original pricing. On the build sheet are all the codes from the Bowling Green plant.

A lot of people know about this, but maybe some of the newbies don't.

A few months ago I bought two copies of my build sheet--$50 w/shipping.

If you want the window sticker, I think what is offered is a combo package
of window sticker & build sheet for similar (or slightly less) money.

Either way, a good deal and nice documentation to have !

I did the same for my 05 and framed them. I need to do this for my new one also.

The museum also offers your build sheets and window sticker etched into metal signs. I believe they are not very large, but you can contact Betty Hardison in the NCM library for details.

In '08 I got the window sticker, a build sheet and then the actual build sheet used on the line. That along with the appropriate brochure and the documentation is complete. Hangs in the shop for all to see!

It's a lot cheaper just to read the options off the sticker on the inside left side of the glove box door.

I bought the laminated build sheet and laminated window sticker from the Museum.

Build sheet came off the printer/copier cockeyed with the corner cut off.

The window sticker was missing the listing for the power convertible top option.

I was hoping for something suitable for framing but came up short.

YMMV.

You know, I have the power top as well and I'm not sure mine is listed. Will check.

However, it has to be a copy of the original because the original dealership that ordered it is listed in the bottom left corner and it matches up with CarFax.

My window sticker shows a full length Z06 rear spoiler, which my car doesn't have. Is that a dealer installed option? If that's the case, the dealer kept it or GM forgot to put it on.

That's a dealer installed option although it will still be listed on the options list from the factory, including the window sticker.

To see if your car was suppose to come with it, check to see if the matching code is on the options sticker in your glove box.

Yes it is my car. I just copied it off on my printer and used a x-acto knife to cut it out.

Very cool.

Just received all of the laminated goodies I ordered from the Museum today. Very, very cool stuff to have - and will definately be cool for car shows. Even ordered the brochure, and it came with a seperate color gizmo with all the color swatches.

Damn happy with this money spent.
