Default Thanks

Thank you guys...Ocean front property, I allready have. My apoligies to the forum for posting the link. I did not know it was promoting and I was not trying to promote anything. I just wanted to get a better Idea from the forum members on this topic. I'm actully thinking that I'll go 19/20 send this set back. I do not need problems with broken rims and possibly a blasted tire. I do want to say that I feel sorry for people that are still so closed minded, It suprises me. After 6 years in the Military and 20+ years as a cop in the worst neighborhoods in NYC, 4 shootings later I've have learned to chill... WOW!!!!!!....No Really!!!! lighten up..... chill...... :coo l:

Have you figured out what size tire you can put on a 22 to maintain (reasonably close) the OEM overall tire diameter?

I'd think the sidewall profile will be so low that you will have to tip toe around any bumps/potholes.

They may look cool, that's up to you, but they still have to function, as does the cars AH/TC.

I had 20/20's on my car and although it looked good, I think it hurt the performance, which I am sure the tires had a lot to do with it. I went back to 19/18 with Nitto NT05's and the car sticks like it is on rails (not in the rain, though).

Good grief, now that is one double ugly, no, make that a triple ugly wheel. But of course I'm a poor judge because I'm not interested the least in the latest wheel trends. Whenever I see a car with black wheels all that I can envision is someone driving around on four compact spares, and when I see chrome wheels, or wheels with bolts around the rim, I think of JC Whitney in Chicago, which I visited but bought little from as a teen, and the pimpmobiles that drove around the south side. That is definately pimpmobile material, meaning the pimp had money but no taste whatever.

I think those would look great on a lowered Chevy pick up
But there are plenty better wheel choices for your vette.

I am a big fan of chrome wheels with wide lips. However 22" would be adding considerably to unsprung weight.

Lol, I didn't know you lived in the Chi. I bought hood scoops and the second sideview mirrors, like Miami Vice on my all white 280Z (Earl Scheib Paintjob ) from JC Whitney. Crazy days with a teenager budget, but fun as a kid....but I digress...

Can take back as long as no install. What do you guys think. They look really big, and fragile. Will I destroy these in a pot hole. Will they be hard to get them an alignment. Maybe you guys can help me make the final decision, before I pull the trigger and keep them,....
Do you still have them? I would buy them from you
