Did the original buyer tell you why they sold it at a discount? Was it a unit that had issues so they sold it for display purposes only? While we do not know the answer to this, there are some things we do know. Their warranty covers the original purchaser, Corsa sold it at a discount so they did not make full profit and we know you did not spend a dime with Corsa. Honestly what did you expect them to do?

He does, Don! He is still, 6 years and no longer an owner, bad-mouthing Corsa. Wanna bet that's not the only co. he bad-mouths?

And this should have been a done deal 6 years ago when it was determined he wasn't the original purchaser and therefore there was no warranty per Corsa's terms and conditions.

While that is an unfortunate situation, it's not one that Corsa has an obligation to make good on. It sounds like they've offered you a pretty good deal on a new system. I would say given the situation, this is a fair compromise.
I agree!
