Why is it called Hyperblack?

Do these come in actual ZR1 sizes too?

Yep, got those, from Tirerack. Called Hyper Silver. (Because they're silver?) They are closing them out, no longer have certain sizes. Wonder why. They look great!

These particular wheels are not available thru Tire Rack, and are only available in 18x9.5 and 19x11 sizes for C5 and C6 Corvette.
Standard finish is hyperblack. We have 2 sets bare finish, ready for a custom color or to have chromed.
Hyperblack is a 2 stage paint. The curved areas and inner spokes are darker than the flat areas of the wheel. Lighting has alot to do with the effect.
Check the picture.
Thanks,

Nate

Do you have the weights for these wheels? Thats a great price if they are close to the stock weights.

We dont have exact weights, but the wheels are heavier as they are 1 inch wider than stock.
Also, runflats are heavier than non runflat tires.
Thanks,

Nate

The Challenger would make a great everyday driver! They ride pretty smoooooooth.
We are installing Kooks headers, Magnaflow exhaust and a Magnuson supercharger. Should help that orange boat move a bit faster!

Sounds interesting. Yes, the Tirerack had the 10" wide rears. But the finish sounds similar. Here's a picture on my car. Not chrome, but not silver either, more luster and depth. Shades of gray/black.

(Seems photbucket screwed up the pictuer's aspect ratio. the car looks short and pudgey.)

I thought I'd ask this question even though I think I already know the answer. I have been looking to put wheels on my 07 C6 that would allow me to put the Z06 size tires on the front and rear. There are wheels available that can do that but I also did not want to be limited in being able to do a big brake upgrade like the Z06 brakes sometime in the future which has been the trade-off.

You've almost achieved what I'm trying to do with with these wheels except for the tire size which on a Z06 is 275/35-18 front and 325 /30-19 rear. Will these wheels allow the Z06 tire sizes to fit and allow for a big brake upgrade as well?

325-30-19s are too big for the 19x11 wheel, sorry.

Found a few pics of the wheels installed.

Red C6 has stock C6 tires mounted on the wheels. Thought some of you would like to know you can run them til worn out, then move up to the bigger tires.

Those 265 Michelins look like they fit the fronts better than the Nittos you put on for me do ... something to do with the Nitto tires I think

These clear c6 z06 brakes!
These are cast wheels, so are most reproductions...

Nittos seem to run a bit small I think!

895.00 for the 18x9.5/19x11 hyperblack set.
80-110.00 shipping to most lower 48 states.

Thanks,

Nate
