2012 Pace Car Driver for INDY, but what is the car?!
Not sure if Indy or GM took me serious, but I am a huge Pace car fan, NO I am not a celebrity, but I just know if Corvette was the Pace car I would represent it with pride through and through.
No official announcement from Indy, but a big thanks to Dan for the email. Looks like Guy Fieri will be the Pace Car Driver, what is so wierd, he and I have the same birth day, January 22 and he was born in Columbus and I work in Columbus. Congrats Guy, maybe you can let me ride shotgun dude…..

In one of his half hour shows you'll see a windwing on the red vert Camaro, 1967, and the next segment he'll be driving a red vert 68 Camaro without the windwing. Hey, good on Guy. He's made a good living for his own self.

Camaro last 3 or 4 years, don't think we will see it this year.
Maybe the 60th anniversary Vette ....or.....
Chrysler-Dodge pays a boatload of money to buy airtime and become a sponsor and....presenting the 2012 Indy Pace Car.....
A red Dodge VIPER!!!!!
It's not unheard of. Dodge and Ford have paced the race before. Maybe not in the last decade or so, but it has happened.

a good friend of mine has some buddies at gm and they told him this years indy pace car is indeed a corvette. my friend is usually reliable so i have no reason to doubt him or his contacts.
