2013 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 to Pace 96th Indianapolis 500
INDIANAPOLIS – A 2013 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 will lead the starting field of the 96th Indianapolis 500 to the green flag Sunday, May 27 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With 638 horsepower, the Corvette ZR1 is the most powerful production car ever to pace the race.

This MUST be a recent change ... as I have seen the 2012 "Official" Camaro Indy cars already this year.

Just make sure they don't let a dealer drive...I'd hate to see people in the pits running from that ZR1...

The Camaros are the parade cars. I guess it's cost prohibitive to have 50 ZR1's available. Glad to see Corvette leading the way again.
