Hello,

Thanks for offering such great quick solutions to the infamous heat from the center console.

I recently tore up my center console to install some A/V stuff and I have a question: Wouldn't the best solution be to install this same material underneath all the trimming and center console? The heat is generated from the undercarriage so wouldn't the deflection of heat just be routed elsewhere using this product(s)?

This is a topical solution where the heat has still made its way into the interior, correct? I'm sure with your testing and customer testimonies that the heat reduction is legit, I was just trying to find a more permanent solution?

This is a very easy fix to the problem, most people do not want to tear the console apart to do what you mentioned

Nothing against your product but to be clear, it's a heat (reducer) not a heat fixer. As with the dual cup holder I use that you make, drinks stay cooler much longer, it's a great product but not a solution. The heat coming off the trans hump from under the dash all the way to the trunk can't be masked altogether from up top. GM owes us all a free and generous application of under body insulation, something they should've done on the assembly line.

I'm probably in the minority, but up here in the PNW, where coffee is king, I like that the heat build-up is there... helps keep my coffee fixes from cooling down! :-)

For those of you in warmer climes... a pretty nifty enhancement for all you cold drink aficionados!

I recently installed mine. After an hour trip I felt the console and cup area it was cooler than before. I lifted the console insulator and it was hotter. 👍

Was thinking of attempting making something like this earlier this week with heat reflective tape. For the cost of materials and assuming a more professional job than my sure-to-be hack-job fit, if it does what it's supposed to this is an awesome deal. Order placed.
