Default Pink Vararam???? Help ............

I posted this in tech, but looking for advice on all fronts.

I just installed Vararam on my '09 VY vert ... BUT what's up with the PINK rubber tubing???? I called them and that's the only color available (they say it's red, but it's definitely pink ). I'd love for the tubing to be yellow, so:

1) Can I paint it VY or regular yellow, if so what type paint to use.

2) Wrap it tight with a thin rubber sheet, but not finding any yellow rubber sheeting, just black (black would be better than pink).

3) Any other ideas or has anyone overcome the "pink-pipe" in some way?

Thanks for any suggestions ... HELP!!!!!

Rather than painting or wrapping, why not just replace with black?

Most auto parts store sell them these days. Otherwise you can use google shooping to find the sizes you need.

Plasti-Dip ftw. Pick it up at Home Depot.

Thrash, when are we going to see a good photo shoot of your car? You're a photographer for crying out loud!

Thanks for all the input, was hoping for yellow tubing but have seen only black, and black will be okay. To be fair, it's not too pink, but it sure as hell ain't red. And a recent "Pro" shot I did is attached, will do more later ...

if want yellow then look for it. I know there are companies that make premade stuff and worst case you just have what you want custom made.

yellow silicone coupler - google it and go to the shopping section

I don't know what they are selling these days (maybe those are from China now?), but mine is very red that I bought 2 years ago. It looks nothing close to pink. It looks like the same colors as the FRC letters.

Tape will not happen. VR calls this Red, but it is a light red and really seems mostly pink, as do the others I've seen posted, like the one above. Logic seems they should have been black, and I would have been cool with that. Anyway I don't want red, I want yellow, and found this source <CLICK HERE> for almost any color (the silver looks good too), and they can create custom sizes.

The VR for my '09 LS3 uses two tube sections, both are 4" I.D., one is 2" wide and the other is 3.5" wide. They sold me a yellow one-foot section, so I'll have a spare, still waiting for delivery and will post the re-install. DY-NO-MITE !!!

Default Got Yellow!!!!

I got the yellow silicone tube from the source I cited <CLICK HERE> and it fit like a charm, cut and installed it just now. For my '09 I needed a 2" and 3.5" section of 4" ID tubing. They have black, blue, silver, red and yellow, maybe other colors. I had to buy a one-foot section and do the cuts myself for about $40. Rock out!!! Photos show B & A ...

The way I see it, VR owes you $40.

That looks great now
