Wow I'm kind of surprised by the poll results given the fact that black is always considered in the top 3 all time colors for the vette. I thought it would win this handily. Maybe this is why Chevy axed it for 2012!

I voted with my wallet, Cyber Grey. 
Before the Cyber Grey came out, black was my favorite color on the Vette, now I think it's my third favorite color with the Centennial Black being my 2nd favorite color.

If I were to do it over again....
I have a black '10 SS camaro with black foose legend wheels. Also have a '09 cyber grey C6 callaway with black Asanti "20 's wheels. The cyber grey paint has a metallic flake in it when the sun hits it it just pops right out at you. Wishing in hindsight I had chosen the cyber grey for the maro as well. Just my two cents. Obviously, both colors show dirt easily especially the black.

No, the reason they axed it for 2012 was to make room for the Carbon Flash Metallic that was used on the Centennial Edition cars. There's a finite number of colors that they can offer.

I bought a new 2012 base coupe in January. In a way, I'm glad that GM reserved black (actually CFM) for the special Centennial Edition (which I didn't want), because black vs. cyber grey would have been a hard choice for me.
As it turns out, I really like the low-flash (?) look of my CG coupe with grey wheels. I like yellow and red on other people's cars, but not my own.
Opinion: The hard-to-keep-clean and makes-your-car-hot arguments are relatively unimportant. Pick the color that looks the best to you.

Get the Cyber Grey you won't regret it.
I had a Black 2007 Coupe and it was beautiful but I spent lots and lots of time keeping her clean. The Cyber Grey is much easier to keep clean and is a much more forgiving color.
I also get lots of compliments about the color

I own A Black C6 and can tell ya it's a lot of work to keep clean. Yes, nothing looks better than a 3 foot deep shine on a black car, but cyber gray looks great and would take less work to look look great.
Black is very unforgiving.

I have a Cyber Gray GS and love it. I had a c4 and c5 in black. I thought black was a great color except keeping them clean. Cyber Gray looks great all the time and I get complements all the time. Get Cyber Gray and you will love it.
