My 2012 Equinox has a contrasting stitching and its not listed anywhere as far as an extra charge. Chevrolet, WHY??? ...
Unfortunately because they can. You're buying a high end sports car and they know they can charge you. Have you ever tried to configure a Porche? They nickle and dime you for every little item, it's crazy.

Notice I mentioned- "historically"

In fact, the Occutard protestors are the so-called 1%. They're just to ignorant to know it. I don't see the Corvette as the poor man's Ferrari. Each car is what it is with its own pros and cons....both are beautiful cars IMO. I'd use a Ferrari quite differently than how I use my Corvette.

Funny how both had vastly different opinions on the interior. One comments on a bad interior(calls it boy racer??)It's anything but. While not high quality, it is reserved, functional, with good ergonomics and pleasing to the eye.

Best 50k sports car on the planet, leaves us to mod them to our tastes or leave them alone, most Ferrari's are left stock.

The 99% Ferrari is the Viper, Lotus Evora, AudiR8, Aston Martin, Maserati, etc. Basically cars in the Mid $100k. The Chevy Corvette is the 99% for people who love Corvettes.

It's just a core difference between a company who ONLY makes supercars and a company that has a supercar in its lineup. Now, a seperate argument in a different thread could address whether or not a 'ZR-1' level of corvette 'SHOULD' have an Italian level of interior, and i would agree. But, IMO, that is not the core argument of your position.

this is a funny thread im building a tribute corvette because i love my daughter and wouldnt own a corvette if it wasnt for her. she brought home great report cards and wanted ferrari style shields on the fenders. so our car has them and if anything it makes the car very classy and expensive looking. now im getting all sorts of bad comments for doing something i promised my daughter and yet again the corvette is being compared to ferrari. and heres the kicker ferrari and corvette share parts.

Not true. If everyone strived to be in the 1% we would have no teachers, firefighters, policemen, plumbers, electricians etc.

True. But funny enough, I find the cheapo Vette seats more comfortable than the $10K+ upgraded Daytonas . And yes, they're a work of art. However, I'd take the Vette on a long trip .

OP don't say 1% or 99% around here. You have a bunch of people here who are desperate to pretend they are part of the 1% and get outraged at the very mention of such.
