Default 08 C6 Theft deterrent system?

Could this be an effective theft deterrent system?

Just leaving them displayed like that, would entice thieves.
In the hands of a thief, it'd then move them up a notch to armed robbery.

Theft deterrent, no. Theft invitation, yes.

Someone said that a better technique is to leave an empty holster laying on the passenger seat.

In 30+ years of carrying on and off the job, only once did someone spot my piece. That's the way I like it.

Well, there's always the "This Vehicle Protected By Smith & Wesson" decal.

Like that works, right?

This was a failed attempt at humor guys. I was trying to combine two of my loves: C6's and handguns, and get same minded members to respond with their photos. Sorry.

I Liked it. You appear to like the N frame 45 revolvers as well as the Sigs.

You're not the only one to enjoy both items, and also not the only one to have a joke fall flat on the internet. Sometimes, ya just gotta be there...

I commend you for recognizing them. I reload 45's and those N frames are 45acp. Plus you don't have to hunt for the empties like with the 911. LOL

Thanks, I'm reasonably well versed in my guns, especially the S&W revolvers and 1911's. My 625-3 is one of my favorite revolvers although I am quite attached to my Les Baer 1911's.

I too love guns and C6s, and this symbol......indicates "big grin"...not ridicule...I'm with you all the way, humor included.

I got it. And I knew what you meant . They are a deterrent when they are in your hand. I like my hardware as well, let's just say I make good use of the 2nd amendment .

Have you had any issues at all with the Lojack being connected to your car's battery?

Never would have guessed from the picture you were a handgun lover.

Now THAT would deter me! GREAT DOG!

Another theft deterrent: manual transmission*.

*not meant as a put down of M6 drivers (I have one) but the fact of how few (mostly young) car thieves can drive stick.
