Just leaving them displayed like that, would entice thieves.

Someone said that a better technique is to leave an empty holster laying on the passenger seat.

Thanks, I'm reasonably well versed in my guns, especially the S&W revolvers and 1911's. My 625-3 is one of my favorite revolvers although I am quite attached to my Les Baer 1911's.

I got it. And I knew what you meant . They are a deterrent when they are in your hand. I like my hardware as well, let's just say I make good use of the 2nd amendment .
