Yeah, just got it. Kind of ironic that the owners manual makes no mention of a regular check on the fluid level in the battery. Considering it has removable caps.

Well Bill, since the battery has REMOVABLE CAPS, I think it has something to do with "active handling", just don't lick your fingers, maybe a "LS" model with a dial back option?

John

PS; Mikey lives on the South side of Ft. Worth, I live on the North side, he was at Rosa's GTG in Fort Worth about three or four weeks ago or so and I talked to him. He hadn't visited in about a year plus or so. This GTG has been going on for over six years now, one of the oldest in DFW area.

Default Why I don't make it often

I go in to work at 04:00 hrs. By the time I get off 13 to 14 hours and 500 or so miles later, the last thing I feel like doing is driving through rush hour traffic from the far south of the DFW area to the far north side of the DFW area ! Once I retire, that's a different story.

Bill

Jim (Barneyphyffe) was at Rosa's last night, a Ft. Worth surburb, he has a new job and is moving permanently to Switzerland the early part of July and will being doing IT work there, his first 3 month assignment will be traveling for his new company to solve computer problems in various places outside Switzerland. He even brought an old shifter and two exhaust tips to give away that he never sold. He says that for transportation, he has four (4) different types of bikes, yes 4, he not doing anything 'bout another Vette for now but says there are two Chevy dealers where he is. He said there is premium for Vettes and it would be cheaper to send a Vette over from USA.

As for Rob, aka "RFP" has been taking drum lessons, he has wanted to do this since childhood, on Wednesday nights, the nights we meet at Rosa's. He stopped by a few weeks ago to say hello.

I was able to talk to them both each time they came to visit at Rosa's. Jim is real nice guy and we will miss him; of course, if we can get Rob to take a break from "Take Five", we will see him again.

Hope that somewhat answers your questions, Mikey updated himself in previous posts, he should know both of them, I'd be surprised if he didn't.

If it is the Jerry I'm thinking of, he has a black Calliway C6 and he drives over from Dallas with his wife several times a month or so.

John Have a nice day!

Bill

We have a Fresco's in the Keller area (N. Ft. Worth subburg), so haven't been to one in Burleson, I go through Burleson ALL the time returning from Hard 8 BBQ in Stephenvillw (home of Ty Murray PBR bull riding champ for 10 years, he is co-host of PBR TV program, also is promoter of a bull riding group) and stop by the Motor Sport Ranch (MSR) in Cresson on our way home - Dodge tested the Charger at MSR.

One of our destination of Vette cruises with up to fifty cars at a time is the Hard 8 BBQ, one of the best BBQ in the state. This is all "Hill Country" which makes great road (racing ) cruises, we get in the Hill Country less than an hour away and the driving fun begins.

I bought a nice Boy/Girl antique lamp with three tulip lamps in Cleburne for my dad's beautiful lathe turned home made cherry wood table. Did you visit Glen Rose, TX, which has lots of Dino tracks and is close by? Also nuke reactor is there.

Hey, if you ever again in the DFW area give a call to do a GTG. My wife is from NYC and does not care much to travel that far North. We been ALL along the Eastern coast just south of Washington, DC, to Key West, FL. can't get her further North, I want to go to Maine and further North, like Bay of Fundy, NF. Of course all the Western states to Pacific Ocean from San Diego to Vancouver Island and Canada north. I really like Colorado, beautiful scenery around every corner, nice hairturns and sweeps. etc.

John

PS: Hope to see Jim before he leaves in early July! If so, I'll tell him thanks for you. I have kidded Jim a few times he will have a new handle: "Wish U Were Here" - Switzerland, he has laughed on this several times.
