It will correct the problem if you are allready having column lock troubles.
Hell for $89.95 its cheap insurance against alot of headaches or a cheap permanent fix to your column lock problems.

Without sounding like a fool, what is the A4 option? I looked at my build sheet and I thought I had every option but the selective ride control which didn't come with the Z51 package I have. Also, never heard of a column lock problem (actually don't know what the column lock is). Sorry, searched but a 100+ pages came up and nothing said A4. Thanks.

I just placed my order. Assuming this will work without other problems it should save me $700. Iv been dealing with this problem for a long time now. Normally unplugging and replugging the battery will make the car start. Though due to the heat the other day that did not even work and i almost towed my car. Even after re flashing my ECU 2 years ago my car still has DBS once a month or so. Any ideas if the column lock not working properly was contributing to that problem. Or is my ECU still to blame?

You are so right on that one. I drove stick shifts most of my life but some reason I wanted to change. Don't know why I bought mine with the A4. It's still fun to drive, but next time I will go back to driving a standard.

Somewhat disappointed with COH. Called my order in early Tuesday morning and was told it was going out that day via priority mail, which would get here by Saturday 7/7.
I just called to check and they never shipped it. Its going out today UPS ground to Florida, now I cant install it till next weekend !
