Default ** if you own a 2005 read this** column lock issues fix

2005 corvette COLUMN LOCK ELIMINATOR for manual trans cars

fix your 05 column lock problems for $89.95

http://corvettesofhouston.com/248-20...ock-eliminator ORDER HERE

ok we all know about the problems with the C5's and the column lock. for some reason gm decided they keep installing column locks on the 05's even though they were recalling all the c5's for column lock problems.

for years now we have sold our column lock bypass for the C5 we have sold tens of thousands of them. we have had alot of calls for the 2005 column lock issues lately. so we used my 05 to prototype a column lock elimantor to cure this problem. currently the only way to correct the problem is to replace the parts, which put the same troubled parts right back in play. just like on the c5 our column lock eliminator fools the computer into thinking the system is working perfectly even though it has been disabled. this can be done once you have had a problem with your column lock but is highly recommended as a preventive. why wait till your car leaves stranded. install one of these now so you never have to worry about it again.

there are a good bit of threads on here about guys having to disconnect the battery over and over again till it unlocks or simply just have the car towed to a shop for service. this simple plug and play unit will save you all those headaches.

our column lock eliminator is very easy to install all plug and play no cutting or rewiring needed. it is so simple we had one of our techs 9 year old daughter install one. this is the fix all 05 owners have been looking for. we have been testing the unit in my car now for months and we are finally ready to put these into production.

INSTALLATION

IS A SIMPLE AS REMOVING THE TRIM PANEL WITH THE DIC BUTTONS, THEN REMOVE THE 4 BOLTS THAT SECURE THE GUAGE CLUSTER, UNPLUG THE COLUMN LOCK HARNESS AND PLUG IN OUR COLUMN LOCK ELIMINATOR, THEN REASSEMBLE.

every unit will come with detailed instructions and we will be posting the video of the install as well. like i stated before we had a 9 yr old girl install one of these units.

3 YEAR WARRANTY

Is this for real?

Are these in stock/available now?

I have had no issues yet, but I accept that it is only a matter of time. I would love to hit my '05 with a pre-emptive strike!!!

I was actually about to oder up a new column lock assembly, just to be ready for the day, which will likey be right after GM decides to cease production of that part.

Seriously? Tens of thousands? Wow.

What is the difference between a column lock bypass and a column lock eliminator? (note the correct spelling)

Seems to me that if you can bypass the problem, no eliminator is needed...

for the C5 units we sell an average of 15 units a day.

for patent reasons we call the unit for the 2005 COLUMN LOCK ELIMINATOR. it basically does the same thing as the C5 unit.
