Why was the AWESOME 2013 427 vert not available in a automatic A6?

Default Why was the AWESOME 2013 427 vert not available in a automatic A6?
I am a vert guy all the way and think the 2013 427 vert is the best looking C6 BUILT by a mile I think it has the best rims,engine,side vents,HOOD,and many other things BUT WHY NO AUTOMATIC A6 with paddles?? Someday when I can afford a used one I cannot get one because I only like to drive automatics .WHY DID GM NOT MAKE A A6 for the 427 vert for people like me... I know thier are other car companies offering cars that have automatics with at least 500HP why NO auto for a 427 2013 vert GM????

If the 427 Vert had been available with an auto I would have given it a bit more consideration.

They don't have an automatic transmission to handle the LS7 and probably couldn't justify the cost to make one for a one year run.

Default the LC6 wheelbase
The C6 wheelbase was increased over that in the C5 to accommodate the A6 tranny. Pictures of the C7 mule in a C6 shell imply another wheelbase stretch. The C7 may get an 8 speed tranny. It may also be able to handle more torque...the limiting item for the current automatic.

The CTS-V and the ZL1 use the 6L90 auto whereas the C6 uses the smaller 6L80 auto. The two transmissions are not interchangeable in the C6.

The wheelbase of the C6 was stretched from the firewall forward to make room in the engine compartment for the physically larger DOHC Northstar used in the XLR that shared the same chassis as the C6. The A6 is actually smaller then the A4.

The SC 606 Horsepower Callaway doesn't seem to have any A6 problems.....
