Canada C6 Export?
Found a Canadian 2006 Z51, 6 speed manual 3LT, nav for sale that has the speedo in kph and day time running lights. Are there any RED FLAGS that I should be aware of before I make the decision to buy? Please no "eh" or "bacon" replys please. The owner told me that the speedo (not HUD) can run at mph with a push of a button enen though speedo is clearly in kph. I am not sure what he is talking about.

Yes the speedo (and HUD) change via the buttons on the bezel.
Although I have to wonder, why buy a Canadian car? We Canucks actually import a crap-ton of Corvettes from the US because the prices are so much better south of the border. Doesn't seem to make sense to go the other way, especially when our dollar is worth more right now.

Well if it is a Canadian specked car the speed should go up to 300. That is mainly because Canada being bigger in area we need to be able to drive faster so we can get to the other side, so Corvettes built for Canada are faster.
Actually the 300 speedometer is because of the KPM is the primary the speed indication and the speedometer will still toggle from one to the other. Also the analog gauges will be in Celsius for temp and kilo-pascals for pressure. If you want to see the temp in fahrenheit and pressure in PSI then you will need to go into the DIC to get it. The AC temps will change with selection of Metric/English.

You can also go into the DIC options and select different languages for the DIC written messages and voice messages. So if your Nav is speaking to you in French, that can be fixed!
