Finally got my LT headers installed - pics
Finally got around to installing my LT headers! Had zero issues with Kooks, definately the way to go. A big shout out and thank you @StayinStock for cerakoting the headers for me.
removal wasn't bad
figured I would add some insulation and a thicker tunnel plate while I was here.
nice fitment
i had doubts about those swival band clamps but they work great
a couple up top shots - you can't tell in these pics but you can still make out the Kooks badge (just barely)
still need to tidy up and put the covers back on
for anyone that did the add on dual mode exhaust - this vacuum reservoir works and fits great - sorry for the blurry pic
gotta say I love the way it sounds now - and with the valves closed, whisper quiet - perfect

Looks good buddy! Glad they worked out! How did they smell when ya started it lol, I remember mine were awful for a few days. We need to get all the NOVA guys together this year and do a cruise or a meet or something!

The black Cerakote with black spark plug boots/wires is a great look. I love how cleanly it all came together. Can't wait to hear it.

Looks great!
I too will be installing LT’s soon as well once the seller gets off their *** and ships them. I begrudgingly went with ARH because the deal was stupid. Almost stupid enough to deal with seller issues

Did you use the stock exhaust going back? That car looks CLEAN underneath

Great Custom headers
Mine fit perfect, no smell, no hassles, and had them on in less than 20 minutes. They still have the polished sheen (Jet Hot Coated) even after 2 years.

So the Cerakote only usually smells for the first initial burn in or two, it has some great thermal properties though that really help reduce engine bay temps.

I got the thicker insulated tunnel plat at TPS and the side insulation from DEI - this was a classic case of, "while I'm here ..... " I had already sound/heat proofed the inside of the car and figured why not. I would have never done this as a seperate project. You have to drop the whole center section of the exhaust and the thicker tunnel plate and insulation is kinda pricey.
