For low 30's you can get a very low -less then 20k-mileage 08.Why bother with this high mileage stuff.I'd get the 08 all day long over the 05.The thought of possible DBS alone in that 05 would be enough for me.08 has better tranny too, easier shifting.Overall better car.period.I still wouldn't pay 27 grand for an over 80,000 mile Vette and I don't care how nice it is or how well it's been maintained.80k is 80k.I bought an 8000 mile 08 for low 30's last march. They're out there.Keep looking. On an added note,I was just reading magazine Corvette and a guy bought an 05 VERT with 40k on it for 29 grand. You CAN DO WAY BETTER then what that dealer is asking.

hola gents, an update.

well i was going to travel to buy the 2008 Corvette on a saturday, and that friday night, rear of my escalade got hit and needed about 2600 dollars of work. needless to say i obviously couldnt travel to charlotte and trade in a beaten truck. then the 2008 got sold.

truck is STILL in the shop.

so i ended up just buying another CTSV for the mean time. all of your input was awesome, and i will definitely be owning one of these in the near future. i hope i havent offended anyone by making you feel like your time was wasted adding input.

thanks again

Ya know, things happen for a reason. I happen to believe ones life is planned out in advance, problem is nobody gets to look at the playbook, until the play is over. Too many life extraordinary coincidences have convinced me of this to believe otherwise. Anyhow, I would rather be rear-ended in an Escalade, or even a CTSV, than in a C6.

Isnt yours a year older with more miles for 31k?
I see it as 27,000.00 Firm . However I just aquired an 08' w/ 19,000 miles for 30K out the door TTT. It's already got Longtubes, plugs, plug wires and CAI. So I saved even more . To the OP . Congrats on the purchase. If you are in the market again for a vette .Go 2008 and newer and don't look back. The 2008 and 2006 I had are worlds apart IMO. But than again I have wanted an LS3 for a while now and the prices are dropping already. I would not pay more than 25K for a 2007 or older at this point in the market. Now if it has a blower or a serious mod making it more than 500HP , well than it is possibly warranted. GL with ur new caddy!
