This is a PSA for you DIY'ers. I was in in automotive dept @ Walmart today and saw they had a 5 qt jug of Penzoil Ultra (synthetic) oil for $23 with a mail in rebate of $10 plus $5 off next purchase. I may start to change my own oil at that price.

Though I live in a country setting my house is about 1 mile from Walmart. I go there far too much. But its convenient, and cheap. Plus they have lot of what I need.

Thanks for this. Although don't need oil right now, I picked up some Pennzoil Platinum this morning for next time. This is the oil I usually get, as meets all GM Corvette specs. The mail in rebate rebate is no problem, as you can do the form online. One heck of a deal for $13 bucks.

I just pass all of them, as they all walk too slow. The Super WM in my section of town has self-serve checkout that get me out quick. Based on what I'm seeing, the M1 coupons from other stores aren't better than WM's price every day without a coupon.

As for the Pennzoil mail-in rebate, that's a good deal if you actually get the rebate. This means hassling with it, as they usually don't pay until you start complaining, if you get it at all.
