Figured this would be a good place to post this...
I have a brand new set of GM authentic 427 floor mats, NEVER USED, part has been discontinued - was $170 new but I'm only looking to get $100 plus shipping for them. Planned to use them for car shows but never got into the circuit much.
These mats are literally 1/2 of what the heritage package was.
Shoot me a PM if anyone is interested

Question.... Which stripe is correct? Was thinking of doing something custom with my console lid that would extend the stripe through the lid but discovered different stripe configurations. Just thought it was rather odd and I know someone here would know something about it.

Hey all,
I've had one of these 427 convertibles show up locally for sale here. I remember when they came out, and thinking it was a cool configuration, and additionally cool due to the limited production/single year.
For those that have had them a while and look at this stuff frequently, I was wondering if you could provide feedback on how the prices have been tracking over the last 2-3 years: ie. what is a good selling price for a car with relative low miles (say 10k) in very good condition, etc? And what was a good price a year, two, or three years ago?
Thanks for any input.

If you can get a nice car under $50k, I think that is an amazing value.

Thank you sir,
I do see the ones you are talking about between 55-59 or so asking on Autotrader.
Does that mean the current selling price should be right around 50, upper 40's would be a great deal?
Are they still depreciating currently?

A lot depends on the miles, condition, options, and such. Just use Autotrader as a guide. You can offer anything you want. I was not in a hurry, so I just offered what I wanted (or could afford) so many of them turned me down.

you can find them all over between 58K and 48K depending upon mileage and options.................. negotiation is your friend.............
new C7's can be had for less than 50K, although they are no where near the exclusivity of the 2013 427 convertible.................
for the most part, depreciation is bottomed out................ car is 5+ years old, and originally sold for high 70's to mid 90'sK depending upon options

I was in the process of flying out to look at # 3, on the day I was going to buy my ticket,#8 showed up on Craigslist. One week later it was in my garage. I hope this helps, if not it might be fun to look back on in a couple years. John

Need All Season Tire Help
Hello All! I'm new to the C6 world, but a lifelong Corvette owner & fan, most recently in a C5, and about to pick up my very first 427 and excited as can be about that!!!
But after reading all the posts here, and searching the General Discussion in vain, I need to ask for help. Because I drive fairly often in the mountains and late Fall / early Spring in Minnesota, I've found Continental DWS O6s to be a perfect year-round tire for my C5. But I can't find ANYTHING that fits our 427 stock tire sizes in an All-Season tread. I'm thinking someone out there must be running a compound that will grip in the cold and is a reasonably good fit: please let me know make and sizes you're running.
Thanks in advance for your help!

One I saw was Michelin PILOT SPORT A/S 3+ ZP (W- OR Y-SPEED RATED).
The other thought would be talk to Michelin about their summer offering and the pros and cons under your expected conditions. Their Pilot Sport and Super Sport tires would likely be ok except in the more extreme conditions. The C6 cars computer will assist you in less than ideal conditions too, much more so than a C5.

Continental has discontinued the DWS in the 427 sizes but the Michelin Super Sports will meet your needs as well........... just not in extreme cold conditions

Had mine out to get gas the other day and it was near 50*. Got on it, and it fishtailed like an SOB. Put it in 2nd and tried again, and it got super squirrely. Stock tires. These things don't like cool to cold weather.
