Yes it is true, we have finished building engines for C6 Corvette production. It has been a great run.

However we are still building crate engines, COPO's and even some other race engines. Wixom PBC is still running - for awhile.

I will continue to monitor and update the totals so let's keep this thread alive. No sense ending our beautiful friendships now...

Many thanks for your support for the gang at Wixom. We have been truly fortunate for so many loyal and appreciative Z06 owners. (End quote, Eaglei)

Tracy Bierkamp built LS7 powering a collectors edition vert with the anniversary pkg. I didn't see that name listed above.

Forgot to add engine data - built by Richard McBride, looks like Nov 30, 2012. The underside of the fuel rail cover has 1453 / 1600 handwritten in permanent marker - don't know if that means anything.

I was browsing e-bay last night and found 12 new or used 427's with VIN's ranging from 0231 to 2416. The dominant colours were black and white with 4 each. One each NRB, VY, TR, and CG.

My local dealer still has 1061 (the one just before mine). It's triple black.

Default Engine Builder update

Finally got around to remembering to update engine builder. Built with Pride by Ron Hein. Please know you built and breathed fire into an incredible heart that made #1459 come alive! WOW! Thanks, Ron!

Was wondering if anyone knew if these builders in the above list only do LS-7 or if they also build any or all of the LS's 7, 9 LSX etc as orders come along? Just courious.

JR
