Default 427 alignment specs

What alignment settings are the 427s to be set at. I realize that the big tires will cause them to trammel some, but I feel that it is too twitchy.

Had mine aligned to Pfadt's street settings on Friday. Haven't driven it a lot since, but seemed good on the way home. These numbers are supposed to extend the life of the front tires by taking some of the toe out of the factory specs. The handwriting is the Tech's notes.

Edit: On second thought, maybe it is the caster that is different from the factory specs.

From the note I assume you are driving home. Hope you have a safe and stone-chip free drive! i envy the opportunity to put the pedal down on some of the desolate regions you will drive through. I admit, i was up to 155 at an opportune moment. Hate to see a 427 leave Michigan. Keep us posted on the journey.

The trip went off without a hitch. I picked up the car from Garage Kept Motors (nice guys too!) went over to Berger Chevrolet & had the oil changed then hit the road for Madison WI. Had good weather all across country to Auburn. Averaged 24 mpg in the 2300 miles home. Used 1/2 quart of oil on the trip. And not ONE rock chip! Hard to believe I know.

Good to hear...I had Expel done on the front clip, mirrors and hips on the quarters for stone chip protection...works great! A little pricey with the stripes (if done right). I have not lost any oil, but have not done a one way long distance trip; the furthest for me was Carlisle PA for the vette show which is about 500 miles. I am doing St. Ignace in two weeks which is about 300 miles. Did you get a chance to open her up? I love mine..wouldn't mind a little cam upgrade though!

Just watch that splitter. You'll find yourself scraping it on the slightest dips or curbs.

No high speed runs on the trip home even tho I-90 has great high speed possibilities thru S Dakota & Montana.

Default Care for exposed carbon fiber under hood?

I was interested to see how everyone maintains the exposed carbon fiber on the underside of the hood. Mine is glossy, but has nowhere near the shine of the paint on the car. Is it just a normal clear or does it need special attention. Has anyone removed the hood for the sole purposes of a machine polish/wax. Thanks in advance

Top Coat F11 on mine. The hood is also raised just after parking in the garage so the heat radiating off the exhaust manifolds has somewhere to go....

When I first bought mine used Adam's Revive Hand Polish on the carbon fiber on the inside of the hood. Topped that off with Adam's Liquid Paint Sealant, and now just use Waterless Wash and a microfiber towel to keep it looking great.

I use Adam's Patriot Wax on mine. And I too open the hood when it's in the garage and the engine is hot.

I just wipe it down with detail spray - either Adams or Zaino

Default 2013 60th Anniv 427 Convertible CE

Stopped in @ Costco to take a pic.

You cannot see it behind the SUV, but there is a 50th Anniversary Z06 3 spots away! Got all the 60th Anniv badging. Did go get the 427 floor mats which were a Heritage edition option.

Got distracted by a passer-by and didn't see the trash creep into the pic.
