Default Tsw nurburgrings on base c6 pics

I thought I would post this thread for those people considering the tsw nurburgrings for a narrow body c6. I bought gunmetal nurburgrings from a cf vendor(docz). They were shipped very quickly. The 18x9 and 18x10.5 were 1064 shipped. I was surprised just how light they felt when I picked one of the rear wheels up.
I put nitto extremes 265 35 18(about 170 each)in front and 305 35 18 nitto 555r drags in back. With tpms sensors all four tires shipped with stems were 1062 from discount tire direct. The rear 305's stick out maybe 1/4 at most relative to the top of wheel well. I would think 295's may be flush with the top of the well mounted on the 10.5's.
The tire installers were surprised how much lighter the mounted tsw wheels were vs the oem setup. The ride quality and traction difference is absolutely night and day. Since I'm only putting down 380 to the wheels it just hooks. With the circle d stall going in in a week I think the nitto drags should be up to the task. At least until I go FI. For the $$$ the tsw's are a steal!

For flat repair:

Thanks Keith. It was a pleasure doing business with your company. DOCZ is a definite asset to the cf community.

Default Tsw

Yours look sweet. Mine came from Doc as well. Nothing but compliments and "where did you get those from" type of questions. Went with RE11 's 285-35-18 and 305-30-19. Fits the wheel wells dead even. Came quickly and balance perfectly. Look great to me. Hope you agree. Check out the change in the TSW center caps. Take a peak at the album.

thanks! Your car looks great as well. I was also looking at the re11. It's an excellent tire, I just needed a bit more grip because of the stall converter I ordered so I had to go the drag radial route. The nurburgring is one sweet looking wheel. Some great looking vette+nurburgring pics in this thread.

OP.. Just purchased the same wheels for my 2007 Monterey Red Metalic... (same as yours??).. I love the look and can't wait to loose the chromies.. Anybody want to buy em?? they are very clean.

I have an appointment next week to get them mounted, balanced and get a full alignment (Pfadt Street spec).. I'm pumped. Thanks for posting!

Yep my 06 is Monterey red too(great color choice). Happy to help those out there thinking of mounting the nurburgrings on a non wide body. I have 2 other sets, the polished oem and split spoke painted. I liked the polished oem 5 stars but i've always really liked the gunmetal or matte look on practically any color car. The fact they are so light compared to other wheels in their price range was another major selling point. Be sure to post pics after you get them installed! Nice looking car shanefap, dendk and beatitt!

Indeed, great wheel. Amazing really for the price!
I've had mine for a year, they've seen track time and crummy MI roads and have held up wonderfully.

I'm fantasizing about putting a set of 19" Bronze Nurburgrings on my white Volt!

If the gun metal finish isn't black enough for you, you could have them powdercoated gloss black like I've done:

Great looking car mBones! Really dig the black/red combo. If they ever need a touch up I will definitely go the powder coat route.
