It may be a little over the top but my wife might like it better than me saying, "Be careful getting out" every time we return home in her car.

Not quite enough protection What you really need to get is a

HAZMAT COVER

I can't believe you are letting all those germs, spores, pollen particles
and God forbid(Allah) sperm, snot, fecal particles come in contact with your precious beauty...........Ed

I'm with the too much group. All that protection and yet the hood is left open? Makes it easy for those critters to nest in the engine bay since you obviously don't drive it with all the unprotected areas outside the garage!!!

I was assuming the hood is left open for the battery tender cable. My corvette's hood is left like that for weeks when hooked up the battery tender.

Too over the top. May as well not even drive it.
Waste of garage space too.

I hope this is a joke. But just in case the OP is serious, what would those cones even protect your car from?

I say get a satin stretched indoor only cover, put it over the car and be done with it. Its cheap, its protective and it's sexy. Pretty much the opposite of the solution you are using now.

As much as I try to protect my car from any damage, I don't think I would go as far as you did. Have to side with your wife on this one.

I gotta go with you on this one. However, why cones? They aren't protecting the car from anything! YOu need to drive it onto a 9' 4 post lift, cover it, and raise it up!
Now that's protection!
