Question on Z06 exhaust on an LS3 motor
Quick question for those who've done the LS7/9 to LS3 exhaust swap;
After installing factory Z06/ZR1 exhaust manifolds, cat's & X-pipe on a '12 GS's LS3, can I expect any check engine light or error codes? I don't intend to get ECM/PCM tuned after this.
I've researched this pretty thoroughly & I've not seen any CEL issues, but wanted to check anyways.

Just did this, no error codes, had this setup for a few weeks, still un-tuned at the moment.
Z06 manifolds/cats/h-pipe, necked down to 2.5inch Borla stingers at the end of the H-pipe
I also went ahead and ordered 12" oxygen sensor extensions for the front and new manifold and cat gaskets. From what I read on here, ZR1 X-pipe might offer a few more ponies but I didn't care because the H-pipe gave me the deep rumble I was seeking. Good luck

Intermediate
on my 08 ls3 I put on z06 manifolds and h pipe necked down to 2.5in at the rear exhaust. Might need o2 extensions but definitely no codes. Sounds good but still pretty quiet

Thanks gents, did any of you do this LS7 exhaust swap on a dry-sump grand sport? I just bought LS7 mani's/cats/h-pipe & wonder if they'll line up with my stock NPP catback's centerline, & if I'll have to disconnect the drysump oil lines to get the passenger side manifold up in there.

It depends on which year model you bought. The pre '12 year model is different from '12/'13. The h-pipe will line up/fit on 'pre-12' cars. But it will not on 12/13's.
The ZR1/Z06 x-pipe (late models) does NOT add any hp.
You can use x-pipe from pre 12 Z06/ZR1 as well.
I have a 2010 Z and it came off line just before the change. (Z06/ZR1 exhaust were changed to same but p/n stamped on cans still reflect the model) I have updated my car to '12 Z06 cans and 2010 x-pipe from ZR1. It is deeper than the NPP I had but still resembles the NPP in a way. I have always thought the factory NPP (LS3) sound better than pre 12 bi-mode (on Z06).

Many thanks Tim. That's interesting, even though '12-'13's have 2 extra cats in the x-pipe, I'd assumed the geometry & angles were still the same. ie; I thought the '10-'13 rear NPP system & geometry would all be the same just for production costs sake alone...?
The good news is it sounds like I'll not get any CEL's. I'll also plan to use 24" o2 extensions & new LS7 gaskets.
