LS2 / LS3 Fuel Rail Cover Question
Has anyone removed the foam insulation that is mounted under the
FRC?
What if any were the results?
Cooler running?
More engine noise?
What are your thoughts and or opinions?

I removed both the FRC's on my '12 LS3 & the foam-insulated intake manifold cover too.
The FRC's come off easily, & the intake cover took @ 30 mins because I wanted to retorque the 4 bolts that I loosened correctly. If you loosen/retorque all of the intake manifold bolts, there's a specific sequence to follow.
I really didn't notice much, if any, extra noise, I just didn't like the plastic things & wanted the engine to get more air circulation as well.
