If I ever went anywhere where I actually thought I would need a gun, I either wouldn't go, or I'd take a rifle and and bring friends with rifles. That is the whole point of a pistol; it is for times when you DON'T think you will need a gun.

No question I think inside the console one way or the other is going to be the best bet in the Vette. It is a small sports car cabin without a whole lot of storage space or open space as we all know.

Being left handed I stow two guns my ankle 32 and the door storage my Sig 239 so I can get it quickly if ever needed.

N. E., I believe DE is safe for carry isn't it? I have relatives in MD & DE. MD is definitely a no no. But my charts show DE accepts TN license. I would think they take PA's too. But maybe not.

But to answer the question I cant imagine any other places than, on yourself, the console, or in the back cubby's.
If you can tell me with 100% certainty where those places are, I'll leave my gun at home, but you can't. If you tell me where I won't get in an accident, I won't wear my seat belt. I don't carry a gun to be a cowboy, but to defend my family and friends.
As to the answer, in my pocket and on my hip, yes both at once.

I was thinking of a .327 revolver.

You could cut a piece of foam from a Pelican case, etc, to fit your gun into the regular console space and it would not move. Personally I wouldn't have much other stuff in the console at the same time and definitely nothing that could get into the trigger guard.
I mean taking the center console out and if possible to cut out a square section and rebox it. Then inset carpet and foam that is cut out in the shape of the pistol so the top of the pistol is flush with the rest of the bottom of the console area under. Maybe where the back of the grip is make a section so your thumb slides under easily.

I dont know, just thinking.

You must be refering to the 327 engine and the last one made in a Corvette was in 1968.

How much do I get because you would lose that bet. lol I have a .357 Magnum and a .38 Special. The .327 is a 32 cal pistol. Ruger makes an SP that is quite nice. Not the smoothest but a good little gun and easy to conceal.

Um, perhaps in the Corvette but the last 327 I think was used in 1969.

And to protect those that think we live in hollywood. I keep my Glock 40 in the console, if I have to leave it in the car I put it in the storage in the trunk.

I wasn't aware of a .327......TLS....but it does sound pretty cool for a smaller gun....I have certainly heard of a .32 though...glad I didn't bet the big bucks.....Thanks for getting me on the right track......but still an entertaining thread........

My choices are purse, jacket pocket (made for carry), door, console, body holster. Any of those seem to work, some better than others and the smaller the gun the better it works.

The 327 is the slightly longer more powerful version of the 32 H&R mag. Sort of like the 38 & 357 or 44 Special & 44 Mag.

Center console works well. I've been thinking of trying one of those holster shirts, I'm disabled so the easier to get to the better.
