Default Stock tunnel plate

Has anyone taken their stock tunnel plate and had it ceramic coated. Looking at an alternate method to control heat in the console. Alternate to going out and buying an aftermarket ceramic coated plate.

Thank you,

I bought a replacement. It was thicker and had a thermal blanket on one side. Really cut down on the heat as it advertised. (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...been-done.html) Good info here.

It takes some of the body flex away as well. It really cuts down on the heat. But if you're gonna put this on-might as well put headers and an x-pipe on while you're at it.
