Drifting
That C6 would be for the wife to drive.
As ls1121 says in his reply on page 1, mid way down.....
Thank You All!as soon as I can wash her I will put up a photo. Photobucket..so I'm assuming I can't just upload a picture right from my PC. Now my wife gets to drive my Z28 1998 NBM. Camaro Z28 and a Corvette does it get any better.

Well I can top all you old guys because I bought my 2012 Vette 3 weeks ago at the ripe old age of 70!!! So far, this car has taken at least 5 years off my age and I love it more than any car I've ever had, including my beautifully restored 66 Mustang Vert, which I sold in order to buy this one.
Amazing what a car can do to your overall well being and attitude!
enjoy.

Life is good.....
I got my first one (72 cpe) for my 50th birthday. I'm 59 and now I have 4. I always wanted one, but waited until the family was grown.
Congrats on your new Vette. You won't regret it.

congrats on a Corvette
most on here know that life is not fair: you got to be old before most can afford a luxury like a vette; kids out of house, and, all debts paid to begin the REAL life

As a non supporting member you have to post pictures from a web hosting service like Photobucket. Just load the pictures into yor PB account and when you want to post one click on the picture in Pb then copy the IMG code and just paste it in your post. You can go back & forth to post several pictures in the same post.
OP....congrats on filling the wish.

Congratulations! IMO the joy isn't in owning the Corvette per se....it's what you do with the car that counts. Enjoy your Corvette!
When someone mentions AARP I think of my friend's car and his windshield decal. You're not over the hill at 57, 67 or more....this is one fast AARP racer. Another man who I consider my racing mentor is maybe 73 years young. He's forgotten more about cars than I'll ever know and he's one of the fastest drivers on the track. Don't think you're old at 57 (or you might be).
