Default new car Noise in dash

I have a C5 Z06 and a new C6 base with about 60 miles on it. The C5 is solid and has no noises other than standard road noise (and a great exhaust rumble). The C6 has a very quiet ride but it has a buzzing or vibrating noise that sounds like it is in the center of the dash and below the bottom of the windshield. It starts at about 70 mph and gets louder and faster as the speed of the car increases. Happens with ac on or off and sounds almost like a leaf in the blower motor but it is related to vehicle speed. No way this is normal as it can get as loud as the normal volume of the radio. Before I take it back to the dealer, I was wondering if any one has experienced the same type of issue with their C6. It will be a few days before I get the car to the dealer and I'm just asking if any one has ran across this problem before.

I have the exact same problem, in searching the forums...several people mention that the windshield cowl is loose....try taping it off in different areas and see if it kills the noise.
good luck

Frequently reported problem with the plastic cowl piece at the bottom of the windshield vibrating in the wind. I think there is a TSB out to fix it. Check with the dealer.

I heard they were working on a permanent solution to the cowl problem. Should be announced on January 13th.
