you will not be able to retain any of the NAV or song info in the HUD at this time.
Keep in mind as well the radio frequencies are prob different for you than what is used in the US for the NEX 8000

I have a 2005 C6 with factory Bose. Had the Pioneer AVIC 8000 NEX installed and it is Great!!!! Bluetooth phone, Navigation, Music all are the best you can get. No problem with heads up. Still works fine. BTW, also had a front and rear camera installed at the same time as the Pioneer. Would not trade for the world. The NAV is 100% better than factory....Hope this helps you............

The Heads-Up display works fine. Let me add a few other goodies. The NAV maps upgrade when the NAV is turned on. No upgrade DVDs to buy. As for Music and or Pictures, there are three provisions that can be used independently: DVD, SD card, and a USB port for a thumb drive.

The NAV directs and song info WILL NOT SHOW IN HUD on an aftermarket radio swap...
so the HUD works but this info does NOT work and is NOT retained

Factory Sat antenna can be retained as long as you use the correct optional items to do so.
