Default First Service?

Hey, I was wondering about the first service for my '12 GS. I got it in April and have driven it about 1900 miles. I'm pretty sure it doesn't need an oil change based on mileage. But, since I'm pretty much a mechanical moron, I was just wondering when I should bring it to the garage (dealer) for some kind of service. I just don't want to miss anything important. Any ideas or recommendations?

I've always done my first oil change early... for my 09 C6, at one month & 1800 miles. But with today's synthetic oils, I doubt it's necessary so soon.

Regardless of miles or what the DIC says, I wouldn't let it go more than a year without an oil change.

If your '12 GS was delivered in '11, no telling how many times it was started before you got it.

So for peace-of-mind, I'd change it now.

Mine was made in 3/12 according to the sticker on the door. Thanks for the information though. I might just bring it in anyway. It'll give me a decent reason to actually drive it.

Whoever does your oil change, be sure to check your plastic rocker panels (under the doors) before and after the service:

Jacking pucks can prevent problems. I like the "leave-in-place" version:

Maybe not the dealer.

I would go by the DIC for the oil change or as mentioned at the one year mark.
