Default One serious JSB C6

This ride belongs to a local forum member. It has a bored/stroked LS3 427ci., WCCH LS3 heads, headers, FAST intake, Mantic clutch, and more. It's an animal....but the best mod of all was what he brought the car to me for....

This is the lowest stance I have ever set a C6....

Now...for the good stuff.

Beautiful, I love JSB with the black top and halo. Do you know what hood that is and the striping? Looks like a CF material.
Love the stance but where I live I would be scraping everywhere.

I am not sure about the hood and wrap. Maybe the owner will chime in to answer questions.

It's carbon wrap. Turned out pretty good for what it is. I'm not sure who makes the hood but it is one of the things keeping me from going with a Z06 bumper. You learn your limits real fast when your lowered and the air dam always sounds worse than it really is. THANKS LEE OR THE GREAT JOB ON THE COILS

It made 503hp/499tq tuned by Alvin at PCM of Nc back in mid June. It's not very fun in traffic with the mantic clutch but it grabs like crazy so it's a good trade. Big cams and low speeds don't mix but its easy to drive around that. I still pulled around 27mpg back and forth to Illinois.

I'm not crazy about the massive drop with stock wheels. I'm not crazy about the massive drop in general, and I've always thought stock wheels, unless they're low offset, make a modded car look incomplete.

And FFS, either pinstripe that hoodstripe or dump it. It looks like someone spilled Di-Noc on thatcar.

Thanks for the thoughts but if modded it to your liking then it would be your car not mine. I guess I'll order some 24s for it tho. Maybe I can get enough lift out of the coilovers to fit 26s

That's some crazy torque numbers to go with the hp. Most mods/tunes I've seen have the torque value about 50-75 lower than the hp. I bet that monster yanks.
