Dumb question
How do you make the instrument panel brighter. I tried moving the switch, pressing it in, on the left side of the steering wheel but nothing happens. Im totally confused?

Twist the **** (by your left knee) clockwise, and hold.
The longer you hold it, the brighter the instrument lights get until full bright.
To dim, do the reverse.
To turn on the map and courtesty lights, push the switch in and release.
To confuse yourself, push the switch in with your left knee and then wonder why your interior lights stay on until the timer shuts them off.

I read the owners manual first b4 posting the question. Thank u for the response. I took out the lower shield off and found that the cable was disconnected. I connected the cable and it works fine now.
