Let me know when you have one that fits the standard Coupe/Convertible. We outnumber G/S and Z06 owners ten to one.

We currently sell more zr1 style splitters for Z06/GS, so we started with the better mover. Tough economy, a few sales and we can build tooling for base model just like we did 4 years ago with the zr1 style splitters, skirts and rear spoilers.

Sounds like a very good plan. I have a GS and I am always scraping. I can only imagine how often a ZR1 scrapes and their carbon fiber will not flex like the other splitters. Do you sell many as replacements for the ZR1 crowd? The cost of the carbon fiber and how close it is to the ground was a big part of why I went with a GS over a ZR1.

We do sell a fair share of ZR1 for guys that scrap their originals.

RPI, What is the material ? I do not want to crack and chip another carbon fiber splitter. Is the material in the painted version more flexible and less apt to crack than carbon fiber? And is the flat black the same as unpainted?

I started that thread with the callaway splitter. At the time it was only available fotr callaway replacement. It should have thebumper reinforcement if you are going over 100+ I might want one if it is layered straight to match my APR stuff. 2x2 weave I believe.
When an how much in carbon, josh?
Thanks, Scott

The painted version is gel coat fiberglass, which is less likely to crack. I've had one of our ZR1 style on my GS for 2 years, has held up great.

No, flat black has a *slight* shine to it. The unpainted, will need to be sanded and painted.

Real carbon fiber is available in the drop down box. Price is $689.95 less 10% for forum members with coupon code SS2007 at checkout ($621.00).

The weave is the same 2x2 that the other vendor above uses. It'll match exactly. We ask for 2-3 weeks on real carbon fiber as we make them to order. On our real carbon, we do back it with a layer of fiberglass for added strength.
