Very nice looking and a great run. Based on your forum name you take pride in beating up Mustangs.

Lol, well I used to have Cobra's and I spent so much time and money trying to do what I did with 3 simple mods and a tune with this wonderful machine. I guess I can say im a vette guy now.

I posted this on SVTPerformance (a site i was on for 7 years when I had my cobras) and one of the replies was, "Shoulda kept the cobra".

It was actually the converter that caused me to lose the MPGs. The cam is not mild by any means but its all in the tune. If you have a 6 speed, you should be ok. I daily drive mine. It pulls SO damn hard.

Awesome results for those mods and you have close to C6Z stock power and much quicker 1/4 times.

How much did the mileage drop with the converter as I am considering one for our A6

Well i noticed my mileage drop when i put on my exhaust but we determined the culprit to be my right foot.

I have the converter locking up at around 80 because i have stock, non-Z51 gearing so im still in the cam at 80 just barely. I probably lost roughly 3-4 mpg on the interstate and a little worse in the city but most of that is because i cant drive slow like a normal person.

Just another reason to hate living up here in the mid atlantic, mods like that fail inspection. Car sounds very nice, and obviously makes a nice pass down the quarter mile with the mods. Nice! THAT is exactly what a vette should sound like in my view. MPG loss? who cares, it isnt an econobox.

Yeah, it is nice having the decent mileage if it is a daily driver, which mine is - but damn, that thing can scoot! And even if it did drop a few mpg - it's a legitimate 10 second street car, which is very impressive in my book! Nice job

Congrats David good to see another good running Louisiana car.. We almost loaded the Blue car up and head to SCD but decided to run Evadale this coming weekend for their opening race. Should have mineshaft weather Saturday so we are headed that way around 10:30am.

But anyway nice car and run maybe we will run into you at SCD since Evadale's schedule is kinda jacked up this year..
