Not a '13, but I bought my very gently used 2012 ZO6 3LZ last month. No regrets at all.

My feelings on the styling of the C7 are mixed, and it may take a model year... or two... for the new technology to get sorted out and become reliable.

Meanwhile, those who want a C6 but didn't buy one.. wait until the C7 hits showrooms and C7 wannabe owners storm it like 14 year old girls at a Justin Bieber concert. Those C7 fanatics who own C6's will probably be selling them cheap, and I encourage you to take full advantage.

I couldn't be happier about my 2005 C6. It's such a beautiful car, and I got it in Mint condition, for a steal.
My prediction is I will do the same with the C7... wait untl the C8 is announced, and then pickup an early-year C7 for pennies on the dollar.

I've never been one to care about having the newest and trendiest.
That game is for suckers.
Besides, my bank account loves me for it.

EDIT: Oh, and hopefully in a year or two some aftermarket shop will come-up with a replacement for those tail-lights on the C7.
*cringe*

Default C6, c7, 911s

Had my 07 coupe for 5 1/2 years, 55k miles & thoroughly enjoyed every mile. Kept on the fence about a 427 vert or wait for C7. Did not like the renderings of C7 ( proven correct ) so I crossed the line and now have a 2009 911 S Cab, purchased with only 2400 miles on it !!! AWESOME CAR.
Maybe one day will go back into a Vette.

Just sold my 07' today with all original parts in early preparation for the C7. Hated to see her go, but I already had another (GS) in the garage and want to enjoy it for the next couple of years until I make my move.
Gotta make some picture time this weekend to fill up my CF garage again.

I bought a 427Vert last summer, almost bought a GS coupe
last week to go with it. And I'll get a C7 within the year. Broke, but really having fun.

I am glad I just bought my 2013 c6 (got a great deal on it). I'm not sure how much I like the new one yet until I see it in person. Plus I would not buy the first year anyway. I do want to get a test drive in one!

I am beyond excited about my 2011 GS vert, bought just 6 days ago.

Now my specific plan is to get a 2013 427 vert when it is about 18 to 24 months old, and the owner just had to swap it, despite extremely low mileage, for a new C7. I betcha this plan will work out just about right.

So I am very excited about the C7. I love the Corvette mania that it is generating now, and will generate when it is on the street. It is just what I need to spring some of those 427's out into the marketplace.

I'd sure like to know what all that includes and looks like. Sounds cool, totally. But where can I go to find out what all that is?

I'm going to wait at least two years. 1) I bet the General will update the rear end because too many people say "no likey". 2) Just like the 2005 C6, first year is when the work out the bugs and dial in the car (remember all the rear end problems). 3) 450 HP is not going to do it for me (07' cammed Z lays down 530 whp). 4) C7 looks nothing like my Stingray))

sorry to have to break it to you guys, but the C7 tail lights will be to the C7 like the headlights are to the C6

lots of people hated on the C6 headlights, but only a hand full of people today pine for the days of ugly pop up headlights

well, I'm glad you are all patting yourselves on the back for haven bought a 2013, but it appears to me the C7 is a huge step forward and I'm glad I have kept my 2007 and will buy a C7 in 2-3 years

I traded my '02 for a '13 GS Convertible a week ago. I love the C7 and will surely buy one soon, but not the first year it's out. The difference from a C5 to a C6 is enough to keep me happy for a few summers!

I have to see the C7 in person before I say if it is something I really want or not. Far away pictures and videos can be deceiving. I'm more curious if the LT1 has the same harmonic balancer as the LS3. If it does then I'll stick with the C6. Shows total lack of care by GM.

C7 does look nice but around $15-20k better than the C6? I don't think so. I wouldn't be surprised to see $75-80k stickers for a base C7 with some options and that is what most people will end up paying.

The original question was "who is glad they didn't buy a 2013 in the last few months?"
Your "patting yourselves on the back" comment is nothing but pure sarcasm.
I will have had my 2013 for a full year when the C7 becomes available, then I have the option of buying a C7 or keeping my 2013.
They are still building the 2013 C6 so I guess there will still be a lot more pats on the back.
If you like the 2013 C6, buy it. If you would rather have a C7, then wait for it. It's that simple.

Next year I'll be adding a C6Z. And, no, I will not be getting rid of either of my current Vette's. I have just enough room for one more.

Yes but a couple things hurts it...It will take a few years to get enough cars to make it worthwhile for a ton of research to get those new parts for the new engine and even things like exhaust...no one will want to hear the engine when it is in deactivation mode...and don't forget the upgrade for the ecm code....Takes awhile to crack the new code. You're looking at 2016 before any real non factory upgrades and who knows when fpor worthwhile upgrades...

The LSx engine is 15 years old now and stil has a long life ahead of it...

If you really want a C7 wait for the 2015 model. There are bound to be a few that want to dump their 2014 model when they see what the 2015 model has.
