Corsa Exhaust Question... Need help
I have a 2005 M6 Vert and I am looking to get a Corsa sport system. I found one but the catch is there are no pipes includes, it is mufflers only. I have called Corsa and they do not sell just the pipes from the muffles to the cats, so what is the best way to make this work ?
Can you cut the stock muffles off and just weld the Corsa in there place ? Do you need to have a muffler shop make the pipes ? How will this effect performance and sound ?
Anyone with experience with this ?

I agree with above, you are purchasing the over axle exhaust which connects to your stock mid pipe. I put a corsa x pipe and noticed no difference. I now have long tubes with hi flow cats and use the mid pipe that came with the headers and connects to my Corsa sports

If you think you could wait till the end of August you can buy a Corsa system at Corvettes of Carlisle and get them put on for free..I did that 2 years ago..I believe the cost was just under $1200 for Corsa Pace Car setup..

Keep in mind you will need Corsas for 05-08, 09 and up will not bolt up to 05-08 mid-pipe
Also if you were to find a Z06 set up they will not work as they are 3"

I believe they came off of a 2006 M6 the part number for the corsa is 14169. But just to be clear there are no pipes at all.. the only thing he has is the mufflers.
So what I am hearing everyone say is they would bolt right to the stock pipes ?
So would I have to have a muffler shop cut the stock mufflers off and them weld these back on or does the stock muffler unbolt as well ?
Will this change the sound or preformance using the stock pipes with the way they are run/bent vs the corsa ?

You dont need to cut anything, the Corsa will bolt right in on your existing mid pipe. Your muffler shop will have to remove the rear sway bar to do the install but again, no "cutting" necessary on the pipes. As for the stock mid pipes, they have very minimal bends and hardly any kinks, no point of replacing it. If you are looking for HP, the Corsa alone isnt gonna do it, its mostly for the sound.
